MegaStructures is a documentary television series appearing on the National Geographic Channel and Five in the United Kingdom and on France 5 in France.
Each episode is an educational look of varying depth into the construction, operation, and staffing of various structures or construction projects, but not ordinary construction products.
Generally containing interviews with designers and project managers, it presents the problems this involved the or products that are now in general use within the construction industry.
MegaStructures focuses on constructions that are extreme; in the sense that they are the biggest, tallest, longest, or deepest in the world. Alternatively, a project may appear if it had an element of novelty or are a world first (such as Dubai's Palm Islands). This type of project is known as a Megaproject.
The series follows similar subjects as the History Channel's Modern Marvels and Discovery Channel's Extreme Engineering covering areas of architecture, transport, construction and manufacturing.

Following Alex Grey's first film, Artmind, CoSM is a documentary that further defines Grey's lofty spiritual ideals by walking the viewer through a series of works made for Grey's masterpiece, The Chapel of Sacred Mirrors. Grey, known for his cosmic, anatomically detailed paintings of humans connecting with the universe, takes the viewer on a journey from birth to death in this non-profit gallery/gathering space created for community gatherings. Starting with artworks depicting the physical body, Grey's work branches out into an exploration of various stages in a person's psychic and spiritual development, culled from a complex mix of Eastern and Western philosophical and religious perspectives.

A household name since the early '70s, John McLaughlin was an innovative fusion guitarist when he led the Mahavishnu Orchestra and continued living up to his reputation as a phenomenal and consistently inquisitive player through the years. He started on guitar when he was 11 and was initially inspired by blues and swing players. John McLaughlin worked with David Bowie, Alexis Korner, Graham Bond, Ginger Baker, and others in the 1960s and played free jazz with Gunter Hampel for six months. His first album was a classic (1969's Extrapolation) and was followed by an obscurity for the Dawns label with John Surman, a quintet set with Larry Young (Devotion), and My Goals Beyond in 1970 which was half acoustic solos and half jams involving Indian musicians.

This compilation collects early "melodic" works of space music pioneer Michael Stearns; his other compilation album, Collected Ambient and Textural Works: 1977-1987, offers Stearns' classical space music, pieces that used drones, tones, chants, and nature sounds to aurally move the listener into a meditative space. The music on this album (the majority of the tracks taken from his 1986 album Plunge), as abstract as it is at times, is melody-driven.
