CLONECD IMAGE | 404 MB (256 MB RAR)| MOBILE FIDELITY SOUND LAB | UHQR AUDIOPHILE ALBUM MOBILE FIDELITY SOUND LAB | UHQR AUDIOPHILE ALBUM This is a true Collector’s find for those individuals who want to own the finest and rarest pieces of musical history. It is similar to owning the artist’s own Rare Gold Record Album. MFSL only made 8 UHQR albums, all were limited to 5000 pressings. This UHQR album is an audiophile collectors dream come true. They didn’t get any better than this. This album simply gives you the feeling of being in the studio with the artist. This recording is mastered from the Original Session Tapes and cut at half speed on virgin vinyl. The half speed process gave the cutting head twice as much time to cut the fine details into the album vinyl. This album has been out of print for the last 24 years. These Out of Print gems are the Ferrari of the audiophile market. This copy sold for $50 in 1982 when I purchased it. I was offered $200 for it on my way out of the store because it was the last one. Certain MFSL albums have gone up 30 to 40 times the original value. The future of these collectibles is so exciting because each piece is a sonic work of art that will never be reproduced using this process again. ' Another great and a 'REALLY MUST HAVE' release...

Don McLean – American Pie - MFSL (1998)Author: llamamama Date: 2006-06-16 11:01:00 Don McLean – American Pie - MFSL (1998) EAC image file WAV | 259 MB | Genre: Rock (All covers and lyrics included. Scans at 300 ppi) "American Pie" is an eight-and-a-half minute long classic rock song about "the day the music died". Recorded in 1971 and released that year on the album of the same name, it was a number-one U.S. hit in 1972. It offers an allusive history of rock and roll, starting with the deaths of Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and J. P. Richardson, Jr. (a.k.a. The Big Bopper) in a plane crash in 1959. The song's lyrics remain the subject of much debate. Although Don McLean dedicated the American Pie album to Buddy Holly, none of the singers in the plane crash are identified by name in the song itself. Other famous performers are also alluded to with cryptically coded identifications, which led to many overly-analyzed discussions among both music lovers and the press... all of this hubbub encouraged by McLean's canny lifelong refusal to explain the lyrics. |

The Searchers “It’s The Searchers - Take Me For What I’m Worth” [Ultradisc II] MFSL (UDCD 667)Author: Flatron Date: 2007-01-23 19:02:00 The Searchers “It’s The Searchers - Take Me For What I’m Worth” [Ultradisc II] MFSL (UDCD 667) EAC | APE+CUE+LOG+PAR2 | COVERS | 406,3 MB RAR with 3% recovery AUDIOPHILE CD Founded in 1957 by John McNally (guitar/vocals), the Searchers were originally one of thousands of skiffle groups formed in the wake of Lonnie Donegan’s success with “Rock Island Line”. The Searchers’ immediate competitors included bands such as the Wreckers and the Confederates, both led by Michael Pender (guitar, vocals), and the Martinis, led by Tony Jackson (guitar/vocals). By 1959, McNally and Pender were working together as a duet; later in the year, Jackson joined as the lead vocalist. After drummer Norman McGarry left the Searchers he was replaced by Chris Crummy, who quickly renamed himself Chris Curtis. Other changes were in the works as Jackson built and learned to play a customized bass guitar. Learning his new job on the four-stringed instrument proved too difficult to permit him to continue singing lead, and McNally and Pender brought in a fifth member, Johnny Sandon (born Billy Beck). Johnny Sandon & the Searchers lasted from 1960 through February of 1962, and were extremely popular on the dance hall and club circuit in Liverpool. |
