Superman’s effectiveness as a super hero comes into question when a new group of super powerful crusaders, known as “The Elite” appear on the scene, led by British public identity hero Manchester Black. As super heroes, the Elite know no bounds, and are more than willing to kill, even on a massive scale, to stop villainy - putting them on a collision course with the ever-ethical and decidedly non-lethal Man of Steel.

The Heartbreakers' L.A.M.F. is hailed as one of the classic punk albums. Formed by New York Dolls Thunders and Jerry Nolan in 1975 they influenced the UK punk scene, joining the Sex Pistols, Damned & Clash on the infamous "Anarchy" tour. L.A.M.F. was released on Track Records in 1977 to much acclaim, but was marred by a muddy sound. In 1994 Jungle found long-lost original mud-free sessions and re-compiled the album. This edition of L.A.M.F. was amended with a bonus disc featuring studio outtakes, rehearsals and early demos. The studio rehearsals include the original instrumental backing tracks with studio chat, plus alternative 1977 mixes from different studios, and two demo sessions from early and late 1977.

'The First Ten Years' is a series of 10 cds singles by Iron Maiden, released between February 24 and April 28, 1990, to commemorate Iron Maiden's first ten years of releasing singles. Each CD contains two of Iron Maiden's singles, including the b-sides. In addition, each contained a bonus track, a part in the "Listen With Nicko" series, in which drummer Nicko McBrain tells about the songs on the discs, in his own humorous way.

Sixty volumes were planned with hopes for even more. Unfortunately it seems that only forty will be issued. Thus, rather than a proud celebration of the full wealth of this keystone of classical art, the truncated result is tinged with regret for what might have been.
